Hundreds of Police Stage North London Raids

Part of an operation targetting loosely connected networks. Blackstock Road, close to Finsbury Park Mosque was suspected to be a venue for criminals of Algerian descent, with 19 businesses alleged to be involved. Drugs, stolen laptops and telephones the commodities traded. Maybe they'll find those missing databanks at last!
Dawn raids had also taken place at a number of premises across London.

This raid was great, though I think the area could do with a lot more help. I live reasonably near and we seem to be having quite an extensive problem recently with violent crime. To read some of my blog posts about it click here.

Your editor agrees with Bryn that his blog is worth a look. Even some stats for London stabbings in it, interspersed with some visits to what look like the wilder shores of the capital. Us don't have folk like that down yur in Devon, m'dear
