Standing Group on Organised Crime blog

The Standing Group on Organised Crime is part of the European Consortium for Political Research. We promote research in transnational organised crime across different disciplines, and co-operation and communication among the scholars and practitioners internationally through conferences and electronic communications. We publish in January, May and September a newsletter. You can enable an RSS feed for this blog by clicking on the Atom link at the bottom of the page. Our website: www.sgocnet.org/

Contributions for the Newsletter and blog

For any reader uninitiated in blogs, the title of each post usually links to an original article from another source, be it newspaper or journal. Then text of the post consists of the posters comments and the comment button is for you to refer us to other interesting information or just to make a comment.

We are always looking for:
  • Book reviews: 500-900 words, original books in language of your choice but reviews should be written in English. Indicate the language of the book.
  • Conference reports: about 1000 words max. in English. Share your experience at conferences with those who are unable to attend them.
  • Information on Calls for Papers, coming conferences and any other interesting material for our readers.

  • Please send your contributions to the oceditor@lycos.co.uk.
Please send any posts you would like to make or links that you think would be worth adding to the blog to watupman@gmail.com.

We have a new website: http://www.sgocnet.org/
